KITCHEN:  The whole house was essentially designed around the kitchen island which features a Wolf cooktop.  My mom used to do all the cooking when we rented, but she would always be facing a wall with her back to the island where everyone was gathered, so she was never in the conversation.  Now, not only is the cook the center of the conversation, but the amphitheater counter arrangement allows everyone to watch the chef in action.  Plus we added a second sink in the island so you can continue to enjoy the spectacular ocean view even if you're cleaning the pots.  The kitchen and great room have a very beachy vibe with the natural oil rubbed wood floors along with the sand and water themed counter and tile colors.
