The following three restaurants are under the same ownership with the first two adjacent to each other just on the mainland side of the bridge… a good option when arriving or leaving the island. They are open year round, but there can be long waits during the summer at prime times:
Old Causeway Inn - In addition to their great crab cakes, they are known for their charcoal grilled soft pretzels!
Mud City Crab House, Manahawkin - Mud City has a patio option that serves everything but entrees, however, you can get an entrée item a la carte on the patio. The Patio is not recommended after sunset due to mosquitos.
